Job Description ~ What You Will Do
- A highly driven individual with expertise in data analysis and ETL development is needed for this role. The duties of a data engineer include:
- Analysis of business needs (ask business stakeholders whether the relevant criterion is established)
- Data analysis of source systems
- Perform data profiling tasks.
- Technical design of VIN/VID data layers (physical and logical design in conjunction with the Data Architecture Team)
- Support for presentation layer design and source to target mapping
- Development of ETL
- Fixing Defects
- Testing and Reconciliation (AM/AD Testing Procedure, CI/CD Automation)
- To make sure that requirements are fulfilled, check Core IT systems for any unmet development needs.
Team
- Collaborate with fellow teammates to complete assignments.
- Oversee the involvement and setting of priorities for offshore resources.
- Create, improve, and implement standard operating procedures and processes for technical business analysis.
- Assist and mentor the BI team in sharing technical and data expertise.

Personal Requirements:
Key Qualifications: Over six years of comprehensive experience in the industry, ideally within a telecommunications setting. Proficient in data modeling principles, with a solid understanding of ETL tools, particularly Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). Well-versed in Oracle SQL and PL/SQL, coupled with a strong knowledge of data warehouse concepts.
Additional Skills: A proactive approach to work, adept at resolving issues, experienced in strategic and analytical positions, familiar with business intelligence tools like Business Objects and Tableau.
- Excellent time management abilities and task prioritization
- knowledgeable about BI and DWH projects
- Knowledge of integrated operating surroundings, business applications, and interfaces
- Complete software development life cycle experience
- Strong knowledge of the Telco industry
- knowledgeable about requirements analysis, with a focus on testing and validating reporting and data capabilities needs
- An awareness of user requirements and an emphasis on the business result
- An inquiring and inquisitive mind combined with a rational approach to problem solving
- Proficiency in gathering and recording requirements
- familiarity with Agile approaches (Scrum is desirable)
